Note: I am having intermittent problems with the servlets support on this web hosting account. If an error is displayed when attempting to view articles then the servlets are temporarily offline and you will have to try back later. We are working to resolve this issue and hope to have it fixed soon.

Welcome

Thank you for visiting ProGeeks.com. This site was created to be a central location for information that might be important to professional programmers. This might be information on the latest technology or programming tools. It might be information on how to better position yourself for the right job. The best part is that you, the professional geek, can contribute your own experiences while also learning from another's.

ProGeeks.com is designed to foster a community atmosphere where readers may submit their own stories and information, collaborate on projects, or meet other professional developers in similar situations to themselves.

The intent is not to replace more specialized sites on the web. In most cases this site will serve as context for linking multiple types of information together. Sure, ProGeeks.com will contain original content, but it will also contain links to other sites, possibly with comments on that site's value to the professional programmer.

If you have been a programmer long enough you know that programmers can talk to other programmers on a level that just does not exist when talking to people in other professions. ProGeeks.com hopes to facilitate that kind of communication on a larger scale.

Enjoy!
